Come and Try days

Have you ever thought about applying to become a firefighter but found the thought of the physical testing a little daunting?

We’re giving you the opportunity to try Physical Abilities Assessments before you apply – the Agility Assessment, Hose Drag, Road Crash Rescue, Firefighter Rescue and the Tower Climb.

Come and Try days will be held at the TFS Cambridge Training Complex at 1040 Cambridge Road with experienced firefighters on hand to show you the ropes.

Two sessions will be held per day (8:30am-12pm and 1pm-4:30pm) on the following dates in 2022:

• Saturday 18 June
• Sunday 3 July
• Sunday 24 July
